About

Greetings, my name is Nigel Stewart, and I am the tenacious mind and heart behind Mission2Motivate. I am currently studying to earn my master’s in Sports Administration at Georgia State University. I earned my B.A. at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, majoring in Business Administration with a focus in Management and a minor in Sales. As a native of Washington D.C., I feel a duty to be a leader in society through hard work, innovation, and service. I learned and nurtured these values through my Jesuit education at Gonzaga College High School. The Jesuit faith is centered around “finding God in all things,” which can be represented through dedicating yourself to the betterment of humanity. I am committed to incorporating these values into my life.

After obtaining my high school diploma, I attended the United States Naval Academy Preparatory School, where I gained essential life skills and tactics. Following a year in the Navy, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to start my undergraduate studies at Morehouse College. Through hard work commitment, I was able to graduate Magna Cum Laude due to my cumulative 3.6 GPA. I have also had a business-related internship with Mass Mutual Insurance Company and completed a summer fellowship with the Takeoff Institute. During my sophomore year, I worked in Morehouse’s math department as a work-study student. This is where I had my first opportunity to tutor other students in algebra 1 and 2. 

Being a work-study student was the start of my new confidence in my abilities to teach. Tutoring allows me to practice different virtues such as patience and communication. I was able to build upon the leadership skills I learned at Gonzaga High School and the Navy. The combination of all these experiences, and my desire to help others grow and learn, led me to create Mission2Motivate.
